ABSTRACT:
In this talk, we briefly introduce some existing results about the analysis on some well-known models before introducing our own work. Then we focus on our recent results on the Deffuant-Weisbuch (DW) model. We first analyze the convergence of the asymmetric DW model and provide an estimation of its convergence rate based on separation time. Next, we propose two generalized DW models by taking multiple choices in two different ways, and then we demonstrate the almost sure convergence of the agent opinions for the short-range multi-choice DW dynamics while we analyze dynamical behavior about the long-range multi-choice DW model. Moreover, we show some interesting phenomena of those opinion dynamic models.
